I can't believe I haven't written in longer than a month! What a slacker.
So, here's life in a nutshell; A FREAKING ROLLERCOASTER. But you know what? I know that it sounds cliche and everyone says it, but life really is.
I LOVE LIFE. EVERYTHING ABOUT IT. EVEN THE PARTS THAT MAKE ME CRAZY.
My favorite part is getting to see my best friends. I need those folks like I need my right hand. They keep me sane when I'm going off on some paranoid, crazy crying spree. They know me so well, it scares me! lol
Now, let me just tell you about how I started my morning. Oh, it's a good one. Actually I have a few stories to tell.
First, this morning I had a 20 page research paper due that I had bits and pieces of done. I started to finish the rest last night...at midnight!...yeah, slacker. So, I'm typing along, glad that I already wrote the longest part of the paper (you see, we turned it in previously for our teacher to critique it). I'm using the school's computer in the library and when I go to find it in my desktop, it's not there. "WHat?! Why isn't it there I know I saved in on my username on the desktop the last time I typed it!" I say. But, it was no where to be found and I quickly came to the dreadful realization that nothing gets saved on these computers, even on your username. My heart dropped to my stomach and I got nauseous. But no worries, I decided to wake up extra early at 8 am to go back to the library and finish my paper or rather, retype my introduction. My class is at 9 by the way. So this morning, I wake up extra early, hurry on down to the library and start typing away. 4/6 pages in, I look at the time and I almost die. 8:45. I have to print it out and run over to the other side of campus. So this is what I do...I rip out the last 2 pages of the intro that I had already typed so that I could add it to the finished paper. I go to print out my paper, but I realized I had no money on my printing card! What is worse? The only way you can put money on your printing card is by a debit card...which I don't have at the moment because mine got canceled due to suspicious activity and the bank is sending me a new one in the mail. So what do I do? I was about to just stop and cry but then I saw this girl who was printing out something with her printing card. I rushed over and begged her to let me use her card and I would give her cash in return. She was so nice about it and I got to print my paper. I gave her cash and ran off towards my class. I got there 5 minutes late but luckily everyone was in the middle of turning in their papers. AND THERE WERE DONUTS! My professor got us donuts for turning in our research papers. I was so relieved but at this point I was so done with this paper, I could care less what I got on it.
Okay, so next story.
I was walking on campus towards Kevin's apartment. It was about 7 so the sun was starting to set but it is still sunny outside. I'm walking along and pass under a tree. Something falls on my head and it feels like a leaf so I pick it out of my hair. It's kind of tangled in my hair at this point so I have to untangle it out. When I lift my hand to throw away the leaf, I see that it isn't a leaf at all but a GIANT WASP. Now, I am the biggest pansy when it comes to bugs. Especially, flying, stinging, big bugs. I throw it and start fast walking away while going "ew ew ew ew ew." I keep walking but then I hear a buzzing sound next to my head. Something touches me in my neck and I knew it was trying to sting me. This is when I literally freak out and start running and tossing my head back and forth so that it gets out of my hair or anywhere near me. Worst part, I kept hearing the stupid buzzing noise for about a block! SO I KEPT FLAILING MY ARMS AND HAIR LIKE A MAD WOMAN FOR A BLOCK AROUND CAMPUS! HOW EMBARRASSING! I finally go up to this couple and ask them crazily, "Is there a bug anywhere near me?!" They said, "Nope, you're good. It's okay though I hate bugs too." I was paranoid about a buzzing noise for about an hour after that ordeal, even when I was inside at Kevin's.
But okay, that's about it for now. I'm actually typing away on the school's computer again. My laptop is sick with a virus and is too slow to use nowadays so I always find myself using their computers.
I started a picture challenge on facebook, it's pretty cool. It has fun, random things to take pictures of.
Also, this weekend is Round Up, where West Campus is filled with parties. But, Kevin and I decided not to participate in it this year. We are going to go play lazer tag, run, and search for little hidden treasures on campus! I'm pretty excited. Oh, not to mention, I am getting him to watch One Tree Hill with me! From the very beginning! YAYYYY
LOVE THIS :) Haha I just watched you and that wasp in my head. Haha I'm sorry but that's hilarious!!!!! I love you so much
