Stay

I've decided. I am going to see more than Hurst, Texas. Even more than Austin, Texas. And eventually, more than the United States. I want my mind and whole life to be much more than just a small town girl. It will happen, and I will take anyone willing to go with me. The second I have enough money, I'm going. And as for out of the US, I'm going to study abroad. I would like to go to Australia, or maybe Spain. So that will take care of a place out of the continental US. And it will count as a full semester toward my psychology degree, PERFECT :)

So, day 1 of my job hunt. Its terrible. First of all, I'm considered seasonal because in the fall I am going back to Austin for my sophomore year of college and will be quitting. Jobs HATE that. "It costs more to train you than we would gain back if you work for us by the time you have to leave in a couple of months." GAH! But, I got an application for Barnes & Noble and filled it out. I will go back tomorrow to turn it in and hopefully speak to a manager or something. I would LOVE to work at Barnes & Noble. I mean, there would be a lot of downtime, but then I could just cozy up, get a cup of coffee and READ! I love love love to read! And the whole place is filled with all sorts of wonderful books for me to discover. ahhhh I would love to spend my summer working there :) I also love the smell of Barnes and Noble, like new books. Its so clean there and bright, with coffee (yes!) and silence. mmm
If I don't get the job, then I need some back up places to apply to. This is where I'm stumped. I have no idea! But Day 2 will be tomorrow and I will let y'all know how it goes.
