It's extremely windy outside right now. And humid, incredibly, annoyingly humid. I hate trying to fall asleep during a storm. It freaks me out and I end up tripping my mind out with all these terrible worst case scenarios. If it doesn't stop by the time I go to bed, I will just plug in my headphones and listen to music till I fall asleep.
My fan is making this humming noise that's strangely soothing and makes me lazy. I've been reading The Time Traveler's Wife for the past couple of hours. It's a wonderful book, absolutely wonderful. I enjoyed the movie, but the book is just...ah, it's beautiful. It makes me want to fall so deeply in love. The kind of love where nothing makes sense yet everything is just right. Ha, hopeless romantic much?
My feet love me today. I guess because I finally got a much needed pedicure. I also bought a new pair of sandals which I am in love with! I also helped my youngest brother with his flower project. Walking along Trinity Boulevard while all the cars whiz past, it was kind of exhilarating. You feel like you're right there along with them as they speed on by. I mean, the drivers probably thought we were kooky walking along the side of the road, but oh well. I found a gorgeous deep purple flower, but I can't seem to identify it. How frustrating.
But, back to my book I go. I have 250 pages left but if I finish this book in one day, I will be impressed. Most likely it will happen just because I can't seem to put it down!
